A Lasting Impression — 4 Comments

  1. Just today a “table” was gotten rid of on which my Dad used to shape iron and turn it and weld it and hammer it. The table (more a frame really) was strong and functional. He cut the iron, welded the iron, painted it and used it. A place where he sweated in the summer, was cold in the winter, used his mind, his skills, his muscle, his imagination. It is now just scrap iron, but to me it was much much more.

    • Sounds like a tough decision to let the “table” go Ted. It is nice to have our memories when we have to let go of physical things or when they simply no longer function or fit.
